Paint Club - Little Art School - 6 lessons - Term 4 2023

Paint Club is a night class aimed at allowing people to develop their facility with paint. It is perfect for those who have some drawing ability and have played around with paint previously. Previous knowledge of some colour theory will set you up really well in class too. It will also be an excellent class to build upon on from the foundation that is established in Art Intro. We will be further delving into how drawing can inform our painted works. In addition to that we will also explore the amazing things you can do with watercolour and acrylic paint and some of their associated mediums. Oils will not be covered in this course. All materials will be provided apart from a stretch board for stretching paper, which is $10.00. I can arrange that for you.

If you have a good range of your own watercolour painting and art materials to bring to class, there is a cheaper option. Please message me to discuss and I can send out the materials list to you.

Your tutor is Lizzie Thomas who paints under the moniker ellaquaint. She is a registered teacher and has a wealth of experience teaching at Secondary School Level as well after school kids classes, adult night classes and workshops. A practicing and exhibiting artist with over 28 years experience, she is excited to share her knowledge with you.
