Artrageous! an after school kids' art class will be starting on Tuesday 7th Feb. A nine week course, this class is aimed at inspiring the young artist in your life. Encouraging their creativity in a fun setting, while teaching them a range of art making skills.
Art Intro is a night class aimed at those who have always wanted to learn how to draw and paint. It is also the perfect class to take if your art making skills are a little rusty also. Set in a fun and nurturing environment, Art Intro is the perfect class to take before Paint Club.
Paint Club is the the next step after Art Intro. It has more of a focus on building a range of skills using a variety of different paints; watercolour and acrylic and some of their associated mediums. It is also the ideal class to take if you are confident in your drawing skills and if you have experimented with paint before.

Little Art School is starting small but has a huge range of ideas and skills to share with you. The aim is to have fun while developing your range of art making techniques in a creative and nurturing environment. Based in the heart of Wanaka we will be branching out into providing the odd workshop in Queenstown too.
Little Art School is founded by Lizzie Thomas who works under the moniker ellaquaint; an artist and tutor who has a wealth of experience in teaching a broad range of processes and techniques within the Visual Arts. She holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Sculpture) and a Diploma of Secondary Teaching. A registered teacher with over 15 years teaching experience at Secondary School level, after school kids' classes, night classes and workshops. A practicing and exhibiting painter for over 28 years who has work in collections nationally and internationally.
