Private Art Lessons
Private art lessons are available to cater specifically to you and where you would like to head with your skill set or work. Whether you are a beginner or further down the track in your artistic development. Specialties include drawing in all of its forms, watercolour and acrylic painting; representational / realistic and abstracted in style. In addition to that I also have a background in Sculpture (it was my BVA major) and I am experienced in teaching Design, Printmaking as well as Painting.
Private tuition for young students who love art and would like to learn more.
Individual Art lessons for high school students who wish to improve on their NCEA grades. Experienced in teaching Design, Painting and Sculpture to Scholarship level.
Beginners tuition in drawing in it's various forms; watercolour and acrylic painting.
Mentoring to an Intermediate / Advanced conceptual / technical level for practicing artists. Particular strengths in Drawing, Painting and Sculpture.
You might be stuck in a rut and wanting to explore fresh ideas that resonate with you. It might be that you want advice as to how to resolve specific art works or you might want to be taught specific skills that will assist your artistic growth. Please PM me to see if I am the right fit for you.
Sessions start from $50.00 hour for ongoing regular lessons
Cost will depend on the frequency and amount of prep I need to do for the personal program. Whether I supply the materials will also impact on the cost.
Sessions can be booked weekly, fortnightly or monthly. One off private workshops are available also.
Small group lessons are an option too.

Your tutor is Lizzie Thomas who paints under the moniker ellaquaint. She is a registered teacher and has a wealth of experience teaching at Secondary School to Scholarship Level in Painting, Sculpture and Design with highly successful outcomes. She has also taught after school kids classes, adult night classes and workshops. She is so excited to share her knowledge with you :)
