Art Intro - Little Art School - Term 2 2025

Build your art-making skills in a fun and nurturing environment in the heart of Wanaka. This class is aimed at beginners as well as intermediates who are a little rusty. We will go over the basics of how to draw realistically, there will be tricks to extend those of you who are confident with the pencil and other media. We will then be exploring colour theory which will flow into creating a watercolour painting. I have refined the course to allow for a more relaxing pace of learning.

Sorry no acrylic painting will be done this term due to a shortened time frame.

Your tutor is Lizzie Thomas who paints under the moniker ellaquaint. She is a registered teacher and has a wealth of knowledge teaching at Secondary School Level as well after school kids classes and adult night classes and workshops. A practicing and exhibiting artist who has work in national and international collections. With over 30 years artistic experience, she is excited to share her knowledge with you :)

Max students 10 per class. A min of 6 students to run the course.
